
Robert Berke
Dr. Robert Berke is the founding partner of Family Health Medical Services. Dr. Berke has been in practice since 1970 and is board certified in General Preventative Medicine and Public Health. He received his Bachelor’s degree and MDCM from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and received his Masters in Public Health from Harvard University. With extensive Public Health experience in Canada, Africa and rural Western New York, he has have the ability to assess the readiness of local public health units to face the challenges of a rapidly changing environment. As founding partner in a large, multicentered Family Practice, he has participated in the genesis of implementing EMR into efficient medical workflows. His award winning practice of integrating mid level and medical student training into daily office routine has led to a significant tactical advantage in attracting scarce medical talent to a rural office setting. As a lifelong learner, business owner and savvy sales-minded medical professional, Dr. Berke combines his wealth of knowledge to continuing to scale and build out multiple practices, while keeping an eye on increasing profitability. Dr. Berke is no stranger to hard work, continuing to teach spin classes bi-weekly at a local gym, is an Ironman, avid runner, cyclist and Master Swimmer. He resides in Western NY with his wife of 49 years, volunteers as the Race Director of the Big Fish Triathlon, and was Awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the YMCA for his work raising funds so that Diabetic Children can experience sleep-away camp for free. He is actively involved in his children's (4) lives, and is a proud grandfather to 5 grandchildren, and walks to work, daily! Fluent in English, French, West African Pidgin
